    The Brave New Brain exhibition brings together images and artefacts that trace experiences of isolation, the search for meaning beyond convention, and what emerges when familiar patterns dissolve — giving form to the neurodivergent experience.

    The event also marks the launch of Lotje Sodderland’s book, Morphology – A Diary of Day Dreams — a visual anthology bringing together works by celebrated and outsider artists, reflecting how neurodivergent people experience, process, and express the world around them.

    Short Introduction
    Curator Lotje Sodderland introduces the exhibition and book.

    Spoken Word Performances:

    Sami Rhymes – BAFTA-winning spoken word artist exploring identity and transformation.

    Theo – Spoken word artist focused on mental health and masculinity.

    John Costi – Celebrated artist and former prison inmate, drawing on personal history and systems of control.

    4:30 PM – 5:00 PM
    Short Talks:

    David Tovey – Artist, activist, and educator with lived experience of homelessness.

    Dr. Dimitrios Paschos – Consultant psychiatrist specialising in neurodevelopmental conditions.

    5:15 PM – 5:25 PM
    Film Screening: WE ARE THE TREE
    A short documentary by Lotje Sodderland and Manal Ahmed — a moving reflection on neurodivergence, stigma, and the barriers families face across race and culture.
